What is included with a standard studio rental?
Standard rentals include pre-lit news desk, two 4K broadcast cameras, teleprompter, IFB/comm, basic audio kit (2x lav), and on-call tech support. Power, HVAC, and secure Wi‑Fi are included.
How do I book a studio and how far in advance?
Send preferred date/time via our About page contact form or call +1 (437) 628‑0147. We recommend 5–10 business days notice, but same‑day slots are often available.
Do you offer live streaming and remote guests?
Yes. We support SRT, RTMP, ZoomISO, and NDI. Remote guests can join via our green room link with echo‑cancellation and IFB monitoring for low‑latency comms.
What are your rates and minimum booking length?
Hourly from $185 CAD, half‑day from $620, full day from $1,090. Minimum is 2 hours. Multi‑day and recurring bookings receive tiered discounts.
What is your cancellation and deposit policy?
30% deposit to secure. Free reschedule up to 72 hours prior. Cancellations within 72 hours incur 50% fee; within 24 hours incur 100% of the first 2 hours.
Do you provide crew members?
We offer producers, TDs, camera ops, audio techs, and teleprompter operators on request. Crew rates vary by role and experience.
Is there a green screen or LED wall available?
Both. Our cyc greenscreen (5 m wide) is pre‑lit. The 2.6mm pitch LED wall is 5×3 m, gen‑locked for virtual backdrops and live graphics.
What about parking and load‑in?
On‑site parking for 6 vehicles plus nearby street parking. Ground‑level loading bay with 2.4 m clearance and direct access to the studio.
Is the studio accessible?
Yes, step‑free access, wide doors, accessible washrooms, and space planned for wheelchair turns. Please advise any specific needs in advance.
What internet speeds do you provide?
Dedicated fiber 2 Gbps symmetrical with bonded LTE failover. VLANs available for events. Ethernet at desk and stage positions.
Do you require insurance or COI?
For commercial shoots, yes—$2M general liability naming Fenvynvyn Studios as additionally insured. Short corporate interviews may be exempt—ask us.
What are your hours and overtime rules?
Standard access 7:00–22:00, 7 days a week. Overtime after 22:00 is billed at 1.5×. Quiet hours apply for neighbors after 23:00.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Credit cards, Interac e‑Transfer, wire, and ACH. Invoices can be issued in CAD or USD. Deposits are payable online via secure link.
Can I bring my own gear or use yours a la carte?
Absolutely. BYO equipment is welcome. We also rent lenses, extra cameras, mixers, and lights a la carte. Ask for the gear catalog.
Is catering or green room space available?
Yes, a dedicated green room with makeup station plus kitchenette. We can arrange catering or provide recommendations near each location.
Do you have a teleprompter and operator?
Teleprompters are available for all camera positions. Operators can be added per hour, or self‑operate via wireless controller.
Can you build custom sets or virtual environments?
Yes. Our art department designs physical modular sets and Unreal Engine virtual scenes mapped to the LED wall or keyed on green.
